Congratulations Mick, you know it works 
The best tip I can give you is if it says iron, it most likely is, even if the iron tone/light is flickering. Dig everything else on the beach. If it can find a 22 short casing in your yard, it can find the small gold jewelry on the beach. I hope you find pockets full of jewelry and coins with it. I had many fun hours of hunting on the beaches with that unit, Enjoy.
