I woke up this morning expecting my ACE 250 to be delivered by UPS sometime today. I have been tracking it since I ordered it sometime late Sunday night. So while waiting somewhat impatiently I keep checking the UPS site every couple of minutes to check on the status. Around 11:15pm I notice a UPS truck drive by my house going about forty miles an hour, on a residential street. So I get all excited and run outside like a little school girl thinking that the Truck will turn around when they realize that they past my street.
So I'm out there waiting and waiting but no truck. After a little bit I go back into the house and whine and mope around at the amusement of my wife. Around 1pm or so I check back at the UPS site hoping they didn't deliver to the wrong address. (has happened before) Well, they updated stating that they needed a correct address for delivery. Correct Address? If he driver would have slowed down he would have seen me jump out of my seat and run towards the door waiting on him. Anyway, they rescheduled the delivery for sometime tomorrow. So the whining and complaining gets worse, my poor wife.
So my day is totally ruined and worse I have to leave for work at 3pm. I am a Security Officer for Halliburton.
While sitting at my desk taking phone calls I get a UPS Driver wanting to know how he gets in touch with someone to deliver a package. I tell him I'll get the person for him. Then a thought crosses my mind. I ask if he delivers around my neighborhood and he states yes that he does. I tell him that I'm expecting a package but haven't received it yet. He ask my address and I tell him. He states that he couldn't find my house and has my package in the truck. So I say I'll send someone over to pick it up.
To sum up my story my detector is sitting in the Office behind me and I can't use it till tomorrow morning. But if my luck is as good as it is today I'm expecting some good things.
