My first field outing. Silver!

I went out for about 3 hours this afternoon. I ran the 600 in field one and sensitivity at 21. I ended up with 9 coins out of the field and one was a 1918 D mercury dime. It was about 6" but it was tilted in the dirt. The VDI bounced around from 20-28. There was one Indian head in the bunch. The rest were green wheat pennies. I am tired but my arm isn't sore like it is using my Explorer SE. I would call that a good first field outing! Good luck and HH!

Nice finds to bad that merc was not a 1916 D I found two 1916 this year no D!

Thanks Jeff! This detector is living up to its hype. I just wish there was a decent set of affordable headphones available. I just about cut the cord yesterday with my shovel! Looks like the rain today is set in. I want to hit a park that had a race track in 1868 and has been pounded to death by detectors. I pulled a few wheats out this summer with my SE.:detecting:

Thanks Mike! I dug a deep wheat yesterday and a smashed screw cap that was probably a good 9". Also a few clads.
