My first ever seated dime!

Went out with the AT Pro and found an 1878 CC Seated dime!

Nice find there Jim.. That little coin looks like it did some travelling and what tales it could tell if it could talk.
I like the Carson City mint mark too!!

lol not sure why I had 1878 on the brain. Yep you are most certainly correct. Thanks for the correction - Jim

Not sure why I posted here either and not in the "finds" forum. I was so dehydrated today from the heat plus those #$@%! mosquitos biting me lol

I am better now after drinking a gallon of water and rehydrating drinks.

It's a nice thing to find.
I found one once in my front yard. 1842-O.

I was surprised. I know that feeling.

been their done that , but its the elusive silver rosevelt I have not found yet , minards has bug nets and then wear some leather gloves it may be more bearable , we have dragon flys and frogs and they are decimating the mosquito population now , GONGRADULATIONS ON THAT CC 1876 SEATED." they probably went to the park and bought a bottle of pop and layer down and sipped the soda and that spare change just rolled out the back pocket,

You may very well be right in your story Gunnar. Thanks everyone for your kind comments and remember to bring plenty of fluids with you. It was hot that day and I can feel that I was dehydrated. All better now obviously but from now on, I am packing some drinks for the trip. HH - Jim

Congrats to you. Hope you find many more.
