My First EVER REAL Gold

Went to my Local High School fields today for 2 hours and found a bunch of clad, tons of cans at 8+ inches, and my first real gold ring...
It is 14KT solid yellow gold with 4 small stones (to be determined) that look real...Found another junk ring to match the elephant one I found earlier this month...
Found $4.21 in clad with 1 toasty 1940 wheat cent...can barely make out the date.

Well, I could not see it under indoor lighting, but when I got it out in the sunlight, the ring was 2 toned..gold and silver, so I am thinking I got a plated ring, or a cheap Chinese fake....It says 14KT with a hallmark on the inside of the band, but I have never seen a 2 tone like this unless it was plating that wore off...The break between tones is clean though...not jagged...ring was clean out of the ground though...no corrosion and not covered with encrusted dirt...Has me wondering now...Even if it was real, Wally World sells similar rings for 30-50 bucks, so not worth a lot anyways....I will keep yas informed after I have it tested...

Had the ring tested, and it IS real...white and Yellow Gold, both 14KT...1/4CT of chips diamonds Worth about $50.00
At least it is my first solid gold ring.

You will never forget that first gold ring, mine happened to be a class ring and I went thru the work & research to find the owner and returned it to him. He did'nt even seem happy that I found it and never said "thank you" or nothing, so that was 'very' memorable. At least you get to keep that one. HH
