My first dime and some old silvers.

Hello all,
Had to go and pick up my son from Launceston Airport today which is about an 1hr down the road,so went early and stopped along the way. A couple of firsts again. A dime ( not a common find in oz) and what I think is my first musket ball. Some nice little silvers and no pennies which was a bit of a suprise. Met up with another detectorist who lives across from where I was and it was AT PRO with 5 x 10 v F5 with 11". I pipped him by one by the time I left.

Nice finds.............

Roger, that 3d looks to be in great condition....nice finds all round. Sure looks like a musket ball which has slammed into something flat. HH

Nice finds! Yep, thats a US clad dime alright...we have all sorts of them over here as you can imagine, not so much that cool old silver though!

Could the flat on that ball be from tamping it down a gun barrel? Nice finds!
