Got permission to hunt a site with several vacant houses slated to be demo'd for new development.
Decided to take pictures of the finds as I went along. Except for the 1964 rosie, all the finds were made from 7/10-8/1 at the same demo site with the F75 LTD.
Five houses that dated from the 1920's to 70's. Over half of the good finds were found in the big backyard of one house that my research showed was built in 1945. On my first day of hunting, 7/10, I had my best silver day yet with 6 silvers if you include the war nickels, which I do.
The 1964 dime was from last Sunday and is my silver coin #99. I know a ton of dimes were minted in 64, but I'm still surprised that the two silver rosie dates I've found the most are 1964 and 1964-D with five each now. Because of the rapid removal of silver from circulation, it's a high probability they were dropped between 1964 and 1966 which is a really short window for droppage.
