My first day finds.

UnderFoot

New member
I'm in South Carolina and we're bracing for a huge winter storm but I had to get out today.
This was my first day EVER detecting. I found .32 cents and I can't wait to get back out.
Loved every freezing, on my knees digging in the dirt, pulling out beer cans minute of it.

I hope to see some of you out there next time.

Underfoot.

Holes will be dug, dirt will fly, fingers will freeze, ancient treasures will be unearthed, batteries will meet certain death.

great start! two friends drove 4 hrs to hunt a 1800 site. got out, realized one had left his unit propped on the garage wall, and the other one's unit went kaput DOS. turned around drove back with NOTHING! have hunted hard and found much less, except $300 doctor visit worth of bad poison oak, chiggers, and deer ticks, not to mention a snake strike , copper head, on my coil near a tree hollowed out. got my attention. keep digging, you are now among friends with a passion for hunting. my wife knows when i say i am hunting, thats where i am! wish i had a strip joint bumper sticker to have put on them two clowns car! i owe one a prank and know their wives! HEH HEH. happy hunting.
