My first date nail

I found my first date nail this weekend. It was from a R.R. tie, I'm sure, as we were at a site where lumber was milled and loaded on a train. It is numbered "27" and slightly bent. I also found some old bottles, including 2 Gebhardt Eagle chili powder bottles. We had tons of fun. WHEEE!

Hy Lynne,
Nice to see you posting here as well as Kinzli's.

Hi, Rudy, I've found lots of good information here about the MXT specifically. It's been a great help. I was out today in Old Kernville and found a tiny button with a small metal loop on the back, as in button up shoes or ladies dresses??? The more I use the MXT, the more I learn. By the time it's obsolete, I'll be an expert

HH.

Take your detector with you. You may get lucky. Even if you never get to take it out it won't cost you - will it?
Check first to see if anyone thinks you will have any problems with their customs. They used to be real stinky about bringing any form of electronic gear INTO their country.

Wish I could, but it is not practical on these kinds of trips.
