My first competition hunt with Vision

was NO problem, while enjoying the Southern hospitality of the Texas Treasure Show and Hunt. I entered the Sunday morning hunt with 91 other hunters looking for their share of over 7,000 silver dimes. I was skunked........on the tokens anyway. This is the first hunt I can remember of not finding at least one token...:veryangry: It was just my turn I guess.

The good news is the Vision was every bit as good as any other detector I have ever used in speed hunting. There was no out-swinging the Bigfoot coil that I was using and I can whip it around pretty fast. I used the stock Coins program with the Tone ID and VCO turned on. The lightning fast processor of the Vision easily handled multiple targets under the coil at one time, sometimes hearing four different targets on one very fast swing. I ended up finding 110 silver dimes. Some hunters found more and a lot found less and considering that most hunts last 20 to 30 minutes with the last half hour yielding very little, that is picking them up and putting them down in a hurry. Another  for the White's Engineering team.
