My first Colonial Hunt for 2013

Hello all...

I got out tonight to a state land site with a few cellar holes on it... I wandered back the road 1/4 to 1/2 mile from one site and looked down a trail to the right... Swing swing... button... swing swing... button... hmmm... swing swing... cuff link piece...

There is an indentation there that does not look natural but I can't imagine this was a home site... Some iron, but I recovered all of the buttons in a 20 foot circle..

I went through the indent and got a nice 44 @ 2" on the other side...

Two hours of Colonial Fun tonight... I definitely got lucky finding this little section...

That's a very nice way to spend two hours

Nice score finding that old site Paul - I only wish that we had the old cellar holes here in Michigan that you guys (and gals) have out east!

Excellent hunt Paul! Good to see you out and about with your new machine! Thanks for the great pictures. That is about as close as you can get findwise, as those guys over there in the UK!
