My First Button

Found last Thursday at the edge of a South Carolina swamp.
Researching "The Devonshire Regiment" on the computer confirms that it was indeed active here in South Carolina but only in the Spring/Summer of 1776. Known as the British 46th of Foot (infantry) they were likely on their way to take Charleston when the button was lost.
