My first beach machine

Hey my name is Rick and I just moved from Tennessee to Florida mainly to beach hunt. I just bought my first beach machine and it has turned out to be awesome. After just a few days, literally. Today I found a Chanel earring with 24 small diamonds and yesrerday my first silver coin on the beach. A 1959 Roosevelt in great shape. I have also dug up several dollars worth of change. The machines you have mentioned are good machines. I almost purchased the Excal and almost bought the Tesoro. What I did buy was the Whites Surf PI Pro. I drove over to Kellyco in Wintersprings and they gave me a great deal on it. I paid just under $600.00. With my first few finds, I have paid about a third of my purchase price. Since I dig everything anyway, the Excal was not really on my mind. I might be wrong but I believe the Whites is a great beach machine. Not bad for my first beach hunter.

Nothing wrong with a PI Sub... I own the PI PRO as well as the Excal and I prefer the PI over the Excalthe PI is deeper and I can cover more area faster with my PI... Try not to use the factory settings instead leave your gain (on/off) at about 9:30 and then turn the threshold up to around 1 pm at least for me it has increased my abilty to hear the whispers of deep targets... after a while you can tell what certain targets you're over such as iron or nails and you don't have to dig them.. I hunt mainly in the water so I don't need a discriminating machine unless I was to hunt an iron infested beach and we don't have that many around here...

Sounds like you're on the right track, Sub!

Yea man..Thats great!
Ive been to kelleco several times. Never to buy but to look at the displays.
Ive looked at the detectors but what do you do when you have so many.
Its a nice outfit and going there makes me like them even more.
