My first Barber!!

Hi guys,

I finally did it! This is my second year of swinging and I have wanted a Barber since day one and I now have one. I dug this 1908 Barber dime the other night out of my neighbor's yard of all places! I have hours and hours of hunting on that yard and have found many silver coins there so I thought it was done... guess not. Most of that time hunting that yard has been with a Whites Prizm V and my buddy with his Spectra V3 so I guess I need to hit it some more with my E Trac! Some other silver form the last couple of weeks as well.

Thanks guys and take care! HH!

Really nice looking silver! Congratulations on the Barber and the Washington, the Rosie's and the Merc's!!!!! Thanks for the pictures. That's the way they seem to come...when you least expect it!

Nice find SoCal. I want a barber and some liberty quarters too. Looks like you've had a nice couple of weeks. Craig

Outstanding - looks like the Barber Dimes in real nice condition too !

Nice bunch of silver! congrats on your first Barber.

I remember when I found my first Barber, I was pretty stoked. I am from Huntington Beach, but work out in Iowa now. Is that Bodie in the background of your pics?

The Background looks like the cover of Andy's book.....Like many others I am still looking for my first Barber. They show up locally here in San Diego now and again but not real often. I feel your glee over any first S.C. and hope it is the first of many for you.

Hi fellas,

Thanks to you all! I think you all know how stoked I was when I pulled that baby out. It is funny, it hit like a wheatie all the way down till I was hitting it with the sunray then it hit like a silver quarter once so I thought then it might be a merc. Hey Lud, Terrywl is right, that is the cover of Andy's book!

Take care fellas and good luck to you all!

Danny
