My first Barber from the yard

My own back yard has been a challenge. Seems like tons of iron trash. Here's a link to one of the video shorts on my You Tube page.

Anyway this morning checking another small section the old Treasure Ace 100 sounded off loud and clear. I kept digging out soil picking out nails but the Garrett still said deeper. Finally at around 8 inches I was picking through the dirt with the Pro Pointer and found the 1907 Barber. Really cool since it's likely been in the yard for nearly 100 years. Lots of history in the house since it was built in 1883. I'm sure carefully checking different sections I'll hopefully find more exciting stuff. At one point in it's history we were the town bank since they had a huge fire destroy most of the community in the late 1800's. Those sections of the house out front where folks entered and under the huge front porch I've not even gotten to yet.

Excellent find. A lot of people would have walked right by that dime. Hoping to add some Barber coins to my finds list in 2014. It's in great shape.
