Larry, Carl, and I got out to a field today that we found a house site at the other day. Right off the bat you see Larry grinning as he holds up an 1849 Large Cent.
A few hours later the next and only other coin was landed, I got a nice 1865 2-Cent piece, the first one I've ever found. The detail remaining on it is amazing, but with the green and the corrosion, it's tough to tell, but every little line is separated with virtually no wear.
I also got 8 flat buttons and a very cool large button with a bird in the center of it. Anyone know anything about the bird button?
Larry had to go take his wife out for the evening while Carl and I stayed and went to walk and look for arrowheads. I believe Carl got one or two whole ones and one or two pieces.
I got 3 that are nearly whole, one little piece that might be part of a drill or something on the top left, I'm not sure what to call it. Indygold, I need you on this one!
Then in the bottom row there are some pieces of arrowheads that I found.
