WOW TD, That is a Fantastic Hunt ! Awesome pendant , set in 18k, maybe it is a black pearl,
I dont know what the stone is but it's very nice . You made many Great Finds .....WTG :clapping:

Terri

Congrats on the 18K whatever the stone turns out to be the only thing for sure is it won't be cheap in 18K. You had a real nice day there. Dan

" Holy cow" Now that's alot of digging. You're legs have got to be sore!!Anyway congratulation on the 18K

I'm no gem expert but it looks like a black star sapphire to me, unless that is just glare in the picture.

Sure looks like you did plenty of knee bends on that hunt. Don't think my old knees would of held up.:stretcher:

My knees are bad.

I dig a lot with my feet.

I only squat or bend.

It's quicker.

But the reason I do it

is because I have bad

knees.

HH,

TD

wow, td! that's a lot of digs! good god! it's a wonder you got knees left at all! i don't believe the place has ever been hit. congratulations on your nice 18k piece with the black star sapphire. it's a really nice piece, and well worth keeping. way to go, and hh!

Congrats on the great hunt and that very good find Tabdog! You sure dug a bunch of signals. I guess that is one reason you find a lot of great finds though. Very good work, Beale.

Tabdog, Did you ever find out what the stone is? You would think that an 18k setting would be holding something good.

Just a thought, w/ the glare from photo hard to tell. Could be a black pearl or maybe black onyx?

It seems like you can see the stone a ltiile better in these maybe.

From those pictures it almost looks like Tiger eye. Get a jeweler to look it over or Google all the suggestions to get some pictures. Because it doesn't have that star effect, but has the band effect, it looks like tiger eye. Just my thoughts, not a jewel expert.

I have to agree it looks like a Tiger Eye.
