My first 100+ coin afternoon

Captain Hook

New member
I went hunting with my Brother-in-Law yesterday afternoon after work. We hunted a local school where we have been to before. We both ended up with over 100+ clad coins each. I had 8 quarters, 39 dimes, 26 nickles, and 31 pennies. I had 1 wheat in the bunch. I also found an Atlanta Falcons and US Army trinket. I have only had my MXT two weeks. I traded an X-Terra 70 for it. It is really a great unit. I like to hunt in the Relic mode with the trigger button forward. Thanks for looking.

You did real good, and we had fun! Can't wait to go back, as I know there is more
to be dug, and more practice for the tough sites to be gained.

Wow! Great job! Wish I were there to go with you in your hunt. I don't think I've ever found that many in one day with my MXT, but I have found as much as 52 dollars in one day at a sky resort in the Montana mountains with a cheap machine with "NO" meter to see what I found.. That was a happy day for me.. During my four day hunt there my total was 152 dollars.. I've never done that since and I've been doing this for over thirty years off and on.. Good luck to you in your future finds.. Cliff

Very impressive and glad to hear you like the MXT. It's one nice machine and I don't think you can go wrong with it. IMHO, HH to all, Nancy
