My finds with the Ace250 on a rare, warm January day

I took advantage of a rare, warm day in January. Mid 50's and sunny today. I used the Ace250 today. I notched everything out except Nickel, Dime, Quarters and 50 cents. I seemed to do better on Nickels that way. I didn't dig any pull tabs, only 2 pieces of shredded aluminum no bigger than a nickel. Stock coil, sensitivity at 6. All coins were found from 0-6 inches. Happy Hunting!

You must have nearly the same weather as we do here in Ohio. Hope you have been able to get out and find some treasures! It was about 55 degrees Fahrenheit here...according to this website http://www.wbuf.noaa.gov/tempfc.htm
that's about 12 degrees Celsius! :)

I had to take advantage of it!

Stay at home - get nothing
Go out - get something
Play the odds

Hey FRed, have you heard about the new law in your state. You can be arrested for nothing. The cops can stop you for no reason and ask you for your name and ID. If you can't or won't produce either you will be arrested. Who thought that one up?

Yah.... you would think its the same but I get that cold and snow effect from Lake Huron. We were around-2 to 7C last week but tonight she is cold! Grounds freezing up again.Suppose to get freezing weather till Monday. Tuesday is suppose to hit 11C. That will be our warmest day yet.I'm going to try a relic hunt on Saturday in a bush area with lots of leaves....grounds softer.

Cheers!

And added it to the Seat Belt Law. It's really been that way all along, though - all the cops need is probable cause, as they define it...a definition which you are not required to know about.

We also have an federal edict that places surveillance duties in the hands of mailmen, UPS drivers, meter readers, cable guys, and so on. Have you ever caught yourself choking on the name, "Office of Homeland Security"? How USSR is that!

Thank You Osama and Al-queda.

it allows them to check your e mail if you send it without a email address, meant to stop harassment, watch out.

Yeah they don't even need probable cause with the Ohio law. And Homeland Security should be renamed " KGB." THe average dumb American out there doesn't have the remotestr clue as to the amount of trouble they are in.

THe cell phone companies will now be selling your numbers to the telemarketers and of course you will be charged for the barrage of calls you receive. Greed has no bounds.

Also, everyone's complete personal, private, business, and financial records and info are available for a price from the huge data base companies. Choice Point alone has complete records, bank account and credit card numbers and everything else, on 1.2 billion people.

And it has been reported that although Bush claims they only spied on a few people the actual number is in the millions. And it's going to get worse.

In the U.K. they are setting up a system to track you in your car every inch of the way from origin to destination and back. The world of the future is going to be bleak.
