I just found out that the legion Pin is from Great Britian and a Maltese Cross and dates around 1880. It's a white metal of some sort. I'm not sure what kind but it doesn't appear to be silver. There is no pin but there should be one on the back.......Doug
 
was next to a Square Nail. As I scanned the area where i found the ring I heard a low tone and a medium tone that were Very Close together. I dug the nail first to get it out of the way and just next to it was the Gold Ring (my first with the F75). I was using the F75 in 3 tone, De mode with the sensitivity at around 85 and the discriminate at O.
