This past week I was back home kinda taking care of my dad while my mom was out of town for the week. He's 78 now and his health is not the best. He can still take care of himself, but mom wanted somebody to be around there while she was gone and she told me to bring my MD'er and do some MD'ing in the area. Sat was a nice day so me and dad went to a small town 3 miles from their place to checkout a ball field their and we got luck. I took a lawn chair for him to set in because he gets tired if he's on his feet for very long and when ever I would get a good deep signal he would come over and we would dig it up and that seem to work out real good for about 3 hrs before he got tired and we called it a day. Sun I went back by myself and spent most of the day there. For the 2 day's I was there I found a 39 Washington Quarter, "3" Merc's, a 25d, 41d, 42s, a 48s rosie, 1920 Buff, a 45p war nickel, 4 other nickels in the 50's, 8 wheat's, a junk kids ring, a earring and a lil over $11.00 in clad.
It was fun taking my dad out MD'ing and showing him what it was all about and finding some older coins. I have MD'ed around the farm in the past and never did find any old coins there and their place is way over a 100 years old.
