My finds from NHBob's hunt

These are my finds from saturdays hunt in NH with NHBob. I need help identifying object at top of photo. It is made of brass, and is about 3 1/2 " long. it is hollow and at wider end has 4 holes for pins or set screws. I am thinkign maybe mouthpiece to a pipe. The eagle button is an infantry with an I on shield, and is backmarked extra quality. The flat button is plain with a laurel wreath on back. We had an amazing time and enjoyed meetign everyone. I can't thank Bob enough and highly recommend to anyone to attend one of his hunts. Jules it was indeed nice to meet you, and hope we can hunt together again sometime.

Can't blame you for leaving a tad early; long drive, and that stifling heat. The day sure took a toll on us, but it was a lot of fun!

In regards to your brass item, my guesses would be:

- parasol tip/end (the holes would accomodate nails to hold it in place at top)
- cane tip (although that would be a rather fancy one).
- flag staff tip

Best of luck, and I hope we get to see you around these parts again, Kenny!
