my favorite tools for metal detecting

While my wife and I were visiting Mendocino Gardens on the coast of Northern California, I picked up a Japanese gardening tool. It is solid stainless steel with no welding, not even in the handle. It has a serrated blade, which is great for cutting through roots, a slight concave in the blade, like a trowel, and a point end, for digging.

I can't believe how great this thing is. At the time we didn't have a lot of money, and I didn't want to spend the 30 dollars for it. My wife convinced me, and it has been a life saver. How many of you have broke trowels? This thing will not bend or break. I'll post a picture of it later.
