My favorite finds including gold coin

Explorer Al keeps urging me to show my finds. I used a Garrett G.M. Hunter III. I have dad's Garrett 2500 now and it is pretty nice and found another 3 cent silver with it a couple weeks ago but it isn't pictured here. The 1901 $5 Gold coin is super with no scratches. The 1871 cc Seated dime below it is more valuable $$ wise and they were both found in the same area. There's a 3 cent silver, 3 cent copper, seated quarter, barber quarter and barber half pictured. Lots of coins came from that hunted out spot that aren't pictured.

Glad to see you on this site. Like I said the people here are like a family. I enjoy hunting with you pal, and as soon as the weather gets better we'll go at it again!!!
God Bless
Al

Very nice collection !! Funny how some newer coins are more valuable than older ones. I remember as a kid not understanding why a coin from the time of Christ was much less than a 1900 one, Steve in soaz

Thanks to all that viewed (drooled) over the finds. The gold coin took about 20 minutes to find on a Wednesday just before class took up at our Wed. night church. I took it to church, showed our preacher who admired it and handed it back (I trustingly thought). I turned to go to class and ran into another person and pulled the coin out of my pocket to show him and discovered the preacher had switched the gold coin for a nickle. A neat joke that "he" laughed about.
I don't always find coins when I go that spot(neither does Al)but I find I can get a lot accomplished out there. That field is a prayer closet. I think a lot of that time spent so I guess I always find value there.

wants us to lay up treasure in Heaven rather on earth, but when we pray and do His Will in doing good deeds, He sure will bless us with treasure down here, also! Praise God and Thank You, Jesus....How awesome Heaven must be for those who love and worship Him in Spirit and in Truth!

Keep on, keepin' on for Jesus and Happy Hunting with finding the goodies! God is goooooooooood and greatly to be praised!!

God Bless!
Betty

It has been a blast out there even on days I come home with nothing but dirt on me from digging up iron. By the way keep digging shot gun shell ends. I was tired of them but I got gold once thinking I was digging one. We're getting a few flurries and won't go back there until it warms a bit. A lot of answered prayers can be attributed to time spent in that field. More than this space allows for. But I've found when I'm focusing on someone else's burden I seem to find that my piddly problems disappear or get reduced. Even though it's cold now and that field is pretty uninviting your request on my end has been taken care of today Betty.
