whats your favorite coin that you've found heres mine.

That is a nice indian, I have never found one in that good of shape.

So far, it would be my 1867 Shield nickel...not the best condition, but my oldest to date....
Baggins

ok I guess if I were to pick a favorite it would be one of these 2, both dug in 2009
1916D walker half, semi key date............or
1909O barber quarter semi key date
I love em both

So far it would have to be my King George coppers dating pre revolutionary war.

G'day,

A simple English Victorian penny...but found at my wifes ancestors, now demolished inn (hotel)
What makes it special to me is the coin's date is from the same era that they were licensee's.
Happy detecting.

I particularly like finding the $2 coins as my favourite target, but in this picture are a couple of my other favourites. The coin with what looks like a tea pot, is my favourite. I think it comes from Saudi Arabia.
Mick Evans.

Didn't find it with my xterra...but it's one of my favorite finds. Probably 10-12" deep in a picked cornfield. Coin dosen't have a reeded edge, around the rim it says "fifty cents for half a dollar". Looked in hole and thought my heart stopped! (lol)

I would have to say this Large Cent 1803 Rough shape but oldest coin to date.

This one. My only Barber, Beale.

AH HA! You thought you'd have to look at that 1877 IH that I dug last fall, didn't you? Well, although it is one of my favorite coin finds, this key date 1901S Barber Dime ranks right up there with it.

Sorry so blurry:sad: The camera is not the greatest. The date is 1899. But, this is my favorite so far!! Hope to get more favorites this year:biggrin:

This is probably my favorite because it has very little wear. I believe she was lost without seeing much time in circulation.

Man some great coins there. Really dig that Caped Bust half. Here are my 3.

The V was my first pre 1900 coin. I cleaned both nickels heavily. My only Indian Head penny, soap and water only.
