My Fathers Day hunt DIAMONDS

NC GHOST TEAM

New member
I found a 14k white gold Marquise cut 1/2c on the beach late yesterday. LG had gone to the farm and again left me to my own devices, which normally puts me in jail or the asylum.

Today I found the ring for a Marine Corps wife who's husband is in Iraq. Her friend came up to me and said she had seen me on the beach before and would I help find a ring that was lost last week...they had a little sand scoop 4" around and 1" deep and was going to hunt a area about 20 yards square. That not a job, that would be a career.

Went to the area where they thought the ring was. I started 5 yards before the spot to insure the area was covered. 10 minutes into the hunt the old Minelab Explorer sang that gold tume that is so sweet to hear. Dug down 6" and the white gold and diamond saw sunlight again.

The old "What can I give you and can we take you out to dinner and I didn't know what to tell my husband about the ring" and the jumping with joy. The same old answer to that ? "My reward is the look on you face and the joy that is in your heart and remember to pass on this feeling you have now to others"

I know the feeling...I got a call several weeks ago to help a guy find his wife's Platinum engagement ring with white and yellow diamonds...there was a total of 7 rings lost by her son..who was playing with them in the backyard..hubby found 6 but not all of em... after 10 minutes, bingo !!! eyed it on the side of the garage between the fence and garage, didn't even need the green monster...he was elated. Got some gas money to get me on down the road for a while. Actually was a good feeling to help out someone.
