Satursday Afternoon My F75 quit working on me Saturday ! But I still like It! The The Machine Starting making All different tones sound I.D. Readings From 7 to 91 Through All the Numbers I was The Guinee Pig Since I bought The very First Machine From J.W. At Kellyco But not A problem They are going To send me A brand new one ! & have U.P.S Come pick the old one ! Man If I was dealing with my local dealer It would of been weeks before I got It Back ! Think goodness for Kelly Co ! But Dont let that scare Yall I probably got A lemon ! Have A good one ! Still An awesome Machine in my book If It was nt I would nt asdk for another one !

It will still Beep on metal & get A tone on objects ! It's not completely dead ! It is Just going Hay wire sounds & everything & Id's In the air I checked connections & battery !

...on another forum says this, "The detector with the coil at waist level beeps erraticly and displays numbers on the display. If you set sens lower than 50 is stops doing that. It doesn't do that in "tone 3H" mode and i can run sens up to 90 in that mode." In this case it may have been caused by nearby lightning.

Hello,

What were your setting for discrimination and sensitivity when the your F75 stopped working correctly?

Thanks, Bill

but just on that thunderstorm day. Since than i haven't had that problem again. Was able to run at sensitivity 95 in de mode.

Hello,

Fisher is also sending me a new F75. It will be here this Wednesday.
The people at Fisher have been great and very helpful. They stand behind the F75.

I am not going to comment on my particular problem with my detector, until I receive and use the second new F75. The detector may have some idiosyncrasies that do not show up in every environment that it is used in.

Thanks for your email, Bill
