hello all,

just dropping a line to let others know how i made my screen protector(maybe it can help others). I use a spare welding hood screen marked and cut it to fit inside the rim of control housing......applied 2 sided tape around screen perimeter, and applied the pre cut protector.....works great! also added the self adhesive "buttons" to my pinpoint and ground touch pads.

p.s.
finally got a real camera!

HH all,

ry

We used them on the Coinstrike which was all tactile buttons.......perfect for feeling out the pinpoint pad with gloves on.

Not to be negative...but Fisher/Tek did a piss poor job on their screen's. The flimsy plastic shield...is pathetic. Both in thickness and the plastic type used. C'mon..........First Texas can do better than this. White's uses a far more durable plastic screen. BTW, I have education in organic petroleum plastics composition and formulation. Bottom line.............get a higher quality plastic screen protecter. Even if adds a few dollars extra to the cost. Who runs the show.........the detector mfg.....or the chinese supplier?
