new machine, minelab replaced body tube and battery pod case under warranty (was cracked all over)so after all i satisfied with minelab service..took 2 months but i have new Exclbr(hope it's working).

Got mine back too, a couple of weeks ago. Minelab did a fantastic job on the unit and it was all covered except the $75, for my Koss headphone upgrade. New coil, cover, battery pod, 2 switches and repaired the irratic operation. Replaced knobs and resecured the caps where they won't fall off (we'll see). Customized the coil wire to 40", so I don't have 10 wraps around the Lightening Rod. It's real clean! Ran it yesterday morning and it's scalding hot (I really missed the unit). Found a ton of sinkers and $2.23, but no gold/silver. It ain't cuz the unit wuddin' working right though. I just didn't get over any gold. With sinkers showing like that, gold is NEAR! Glad yer back alex!
