I didn't hunt this weekend, have my Excal apart re-wiring for an old cable failure. Took the guts out of the control housing to hardwire the new cable to the board, and re-doing the waterproof connectors so that I can change coils if I want.

The ole Excal should be hot after this re-wire.....was getting a lot of falsing and probably not the best depth with the bad wire. You could just move the wire and it would squawk and make all kinds of noise.

Hopefully after I finish today, it will pull gold from China!!!

Very nice stuff.

ME, I got skunked today. It was like someone sucked the beach clean. Hit two beaches. First, I had 2 pennies after almost two hours of hunting. Second, had 6 detectors working various parts. Got 24 cents there after about 2 hours. No one was having any luck that I talked to.
