My DIY hip-mount for the Minelab Excalibur

Dig

Active member
Hi Everyone! I have been getting a few requests about my DIY hip-mount for my Excalibur so rather than sending separate emails, I thought I might blunder through a basic video on how I put it together. The pipe size is important. it is 3/4" SCPI blue line hot and cold pipe. I'm not a plumber so I cant tell you what makes it that way but, there is a difference, so take your battery in with you to make sure you get the proper fit. While you have it in there check the size of your Nylon bolts as well. I am posting a link to the type of finds pouch that I use. It is sold by a Forum sponsor Joe Demarco at Demarco detector sales and is a very high quality bag.

You can find that here : http://demarcodetectorsales.com/html/misc%20accessories/Pouches.html

I tried to keep this video short for download purposes and I know it's not very good quality so, if you need some help or better pictures just PM me

Thank you very much..The video was great and I'm thinking that's exactly how my new buddy in Caymen had his, except no goody bag. I see that you don't have the straight shaft........why does everyone tell me to get the straight shaft??

Thank you,

Rocky!
