My diamond walk

Well I decided to hit the tot lot at a local school. Last week I managed to find a small 14k ring with 4 small diamonds set in it at a local park in the tot lot so I figured two for two? I found a dime...a buried bottle top (with broken glass attached) and some foil before finding a nice little coin spill ($1.55). The I noticed the grounds keeper making a bee line to me...he came up to me and asked me if I could lend him a hand. It seems that him and another grounds keeper couldn't find the mounting stakes for the bases in the baseball diamond and they had dug several holes looking for them. I walked the diamond and located the missing base mounts for him and helped him uncover them. He thanked me and told me that I am more than welcome to come back to the school when ever I want to metal detect. It wasn't exactly the diamond I was looking for but hey I was just glad I could lend him a hand and get permission to hunt this school that was built in 1931 :goodnight:

Fantastic. Congrats on the diamond ring and especially for finding the bigger diamond. Pat yourself on the back because you did a grand slam job for the groundskeepers. :detecting::cheers: HH, Nancy
