My Detecting Rig or Bag

I made this by adding a set of Suspenders to a belt. This works great and the Key is the Keeper in back that keeps my pants from sliding down every time I bend over.

 Key is finding what you need to keep with you to retrieve and hold finds and necessities. I have a belt type setup with finds/trash pouch, pinpointer/holster, digging tool/holster. I keep a coinpopper probe and ground cloth in my off-hand. I have a day pack I can shoulder up if I get AWAY from my truck. It carries extra battery packs, gorilla tape, zip ties, extra coils, first aid kits, spare 'everything else'.

This last year I've been trying to lighten the load I carry around with me. I currently have a Garrett Carrot on evaluation to see if I like it better than my Pistol Probe that I've used for so long. The GC is smaller and lighter and uses a single 9v battery at a time. The PP is bigger and heavier, but has been very reliable and has performed exceptionally well. I also picked up an AM Leonard Deluxe soil knife a couple weeks ago as a possible replacement to the larger and heavier Lesche tool I've been using the last several years. Both are under evaluation.

I've not tried the suspenders before. But it is always a good idea to make sure the back of the britches stay in the UP position when recovering targets. Don't want to scare the neighbors. :clapping:

My Goal was to loosen my Belt a little and still keep up my finds pouch as well as my pants. The Suspenders worked exceptionally well in all regards. I can recommend Garrett Carrot as far as reliable with good depth. I can not recommend it for finding an object in the whole. The Pistol Probe actually works better in that regard. I could not hear the Pistol Probe so I had to sell it. The Garret picks up all around instead of just on the tip. I liked the Whites TRX for the same reason but it too was not loud enough to hear in high traffic areas. I would trade all of them for a Sun Ray. Losing Sun Ray hurt.
