Got my Deleon back today clean bill of healh But Quote" everything you described was caused by a strong source of external interference ID units are more susceptible to this ,and there are times when we have to go strictly to audio as the meter will be scrolling to the extent that is UNUSABLE." Unquote. I put in bold unusable Huh ???. I'm not happy brand new detector .screen freezing in iron reading to point I can't use it.ITS GONE I"M UNLOADING IT I was out in middle of woods before when it acted up .What interference ? allergic to TREES??? I had read that it was sensitive to EMI but this is crazy!!. And Rusty Henry the service manager looked at it at Tesoro . And this was my first Tesoro !!!!! :ranting::rant:

wow is that what they really told you? WOW i'm so shocked, i don't know what to say, other than its very unfortunate that you got this problem, all i can say is i wish you the best of luck!

EMI can come from different sources. either by cell phones or even from a pinpointer. T2 users have this problem with different sources I've seen my screen go nuts for a moment but it settled down when I moved from the specific area I was in. a large Iron deposit in the ground will make it go nuts too. Don't be hasty in getting rid of it .... I'd use it in a different area and see how it works out first. I've heard nothing but good reports on the Deleon in past posts.
God Luck....

Except I had a Troy X3,Fisher 1236,XLT,IDX and most recent F2 work fine in the same area.I don't need that kind of problems with Deleon.
