My day at hunting started out really bad.............then it turned around.........Thank you surf god:cam:

Took off from work early and headed to the lane. 2 batteries for the Excal I thought were fully charged and left my Quattro at home. Arrived in the lane and started detecting with my friend Lorraine......death squeal in the first battery........change it and within 15 minutes death squeal in the second battery. Both of them had discharged from several weeks of non-use!!.........Mumbles really bad.

Get in the car and drive 38 miles back home, pick up the Quattro and J-man and head off to another beach....still mumbling.........Arrive past low tide and started to hunt.......Then BINGO.......gold and ice in the scoop!!
