my cz6 mod

A word of caution this fellow knows what he is doing so make sure you have the expertise before you start such a project..Many do not like the S handle an the pistol grip and trigger switch are some really nice improvements..Does this help the weighting and ergonomics?..as feel the CZ7A pro or CZ70 pro seem to balance better( with pistol grip as standard equipment).. Some of our fellows are just handy as I have seem some dandy mods over the years...

Yes please dont junk out your fisher!!!!
Ive allways loved to use my cz6 but now its a Great Beast to swing and not just a depth demon arm killer.
There are more mods under the hood that are electronic stuff but Im not going into that now.
Ive been an electronics tech/mech tech for years now so modding things is part of my job.
And thanks for the approval im glad you like it,oh and you need to see my shovel.

Actually for those that prefer the pistol grip handle a CZ7A pro or CZ7o Pro is the way to go..
Either one digital or analog never bothered my arm, just feel over the years arm muscles are built up..As far as the shovel goes unless I am way off the beaten path a screw driver or small digger is about all they allow in my neck of the woods..I would be run off shovel and all in most of my areas..

Same goes in some of the places I hunt but most will let me show them the little hole that that shovel makes and the nice plug, then they trust me. 20 years with a small shovel and only ran off about 5 times but thats because of some people not backing filling messed it up for all. Down here in texas most dont mind much about a small dead spot in the middel of all the big dry dead spots.:smoke:

Now that's a super mod! I have always missed the trigger pinpoint I got so usted to on my old 1266x. I wish the Excel & C$ had it & asked for it but no dice....I think that would interfere with the ability to hip/chest mount with the C$, but many folks don't ever take their C$ off the rod anyhow....again, very nice.

1266 was probably one of the best weighted units around and the trigger switch and dual discrimination made it a winner for years..Even today many 1266's and its predecessor the 1265 over 10 years old are still around..They sort of tried it with the CZ7A rod mount with batteries under armcup and it didn't sell well so the CZ7A pro emerged..Give the public what they want is the name of the game and units have to sell to make a company prosper...Would guess over the years one's arm muscles build up as in my early days hipmounted all my units...and of course was much younger..Cost prohibitive to make both models so expect the same basic design which in the case of the analog models has been around since 92...
