My cousin's cache find.

I have posted this before, but thought I would post it again for all you new guys on the forum. This is only a part of the cache my cousin dug up on on a old homestead he bought. Story goes the old guy who lived there many years ago buried his coins in old fruit jars. What I wouldn't give to find a cache like that. HH.

You and me both!!

Wow that is something that we would all like to find! Was that one jar or a few of them? Did he find is metal detecting or digging doing some work? Thanks for sharing, Too cool!!

My cousin did find pieces of an old fruit jar and he does think the coins are from more than one cache. He had the place logged off and was doing some clearing moving around some stumps, burning and etc. Got his home all set up and walked out in the yard one day, looked down and picked up a silver dollar. Ran in the house and grabbed his Minelab and then the fun began with finding one coin after another.
