I generally only hunt about two hours each time out but I pushed the limit today and hit it for four hours till my legs got rubbery. Hit three different schools. The first one only coughed up about 65 cents. Years ago I used to hit this school every weekend and picked up from $5.00 - $7.00 each time - but no more. The second school gave up $2.38 and the third $2,68 plus the watch ( was running ), lighter, religious pendant, and gold do-dad. Had one coin spill with a quarter, two dimes, and a nickel. Altogether it came out to close to six bucks. One of the tokens is for a movie house and the other is quite unusual as it was dispensed by an orthodontist. Never heard of dentists handing out tokens. Was a gorgeous day with temps in the low seventies. Will hit it again tomorrow unless the weather turns sour.
Found several nickels and I think the reason why was because whoever hunted there before figured they were pulltabs and left them. Works for me.
