My colander o' crapulance

It was time to see what nuggets I could find in the gravel bed of my cleaning colander. Not a whole lot of keepers, but it was definitely a whole lot of fun to be out there. :detecting:

:thumbup:very nice!

 Thats a great shot! I bet we all have a big old tub where its full of stuff like the odds and ends we find..
Mud

Hmmm, that does look strangely familiar....

Good variety of goodies.

Thanks. You can see my biases as I tossed it all except for the pennies. The crusty Indian Head (only my third) and the 1919 Large Cent were the only good bits in the heap. I still get a big thrill every time a junk ring comes up though, as you never know until a good cleaning.

That's what is so great about our hobby, you never know what's under your coil until you dig or scoop it up. Love the Indian Head penny.
