I love going to this park. It is so different then FL. Im sure it has been MD many times, but it is a big park. Most of the coins I found today is from the 60's, so things have been missed by MDer's.

This looks just too obvious for finding coins.

Not too bad. I found quite a few pennies in the fill in the well. I need a bigger shovel.

This use to be an old wading pool. I love all the stone work. It is everywhere.

My treasure. The thing in the middle is a brass from the coal mines. Your # would be on it and you would take it off the out board when you left the mines. At the shifts end if they saw a brass still there, they knew someone was in the mines. Been there, done that.

My other love, plants. This is bloodroot. They were all over the park. The root is the size of your little finger and when broken will drip a blood red liquid. The Indians used it for war paint. It is a good bacteria killer. It is good for athletes' foot, ring worm and mange on dogs.
