My buddy and I did a relic hunt. Got some grey matter, a couple of coins including a 1916 Large cent. He got the best finds......large cent and train. The train is quite old......it still had a partial cardboard wheel on it.

Yesterday, I headed out of Edmonton to a favorite gold digging spot along the north Saskatchewan River. Here's my location and rig, nicely packed up on a wagon, and set up.

After 6 hours of digging gravel, here is my cleaned up gold. I am guessing about half a gram. Nice to be out and enjoying the weather. :)
