My brother and I really had a nice trip and visit with my sister! We were down for....

two days and one night! Arrived back home Thursday after dark and I was truly worn out from going down and back! She lives South of Rolla, MO!

We went to look at the outside of some houses...but didn't see anything we really would want to buy...so will still be looking at more in other small towns near Rolla when we are able to do so!

Had Thanksgiving Dinner buffet style at The Sirloin Stockade and felt like we were the stuffed turkeys when we left! :D Delicious but had no left overs to eat later! They don't have carry outs so couldn't get my sister's husband anything who was too ill to go! He has many health problems and just couldn't get out in the crowds! And they were crowded too. Had to wait in line all the way outside the door and parking was hard to find...but I was blessed to have one without too much trouble. God had it waiting for me....I praise Him and I thank, Jesus, for His blessings on me! :)

Well I am tired but really enjoyed our trip and seeing our sister and hope everyone had a delicious meal and a peaceful day in the Lord!

God Bless!

We were blessed with a nice day and a good meal here. Had 13 of the family here total. :)

I like Rolla. Its seems like a nice town. Our family has some friends that live there. I asked my Father-in-law whether he had ever eaten at the Sirloin Stockade, and he said yes. He seemed to like it too! Take care and God Bless!

We wanted to look at the outside of one new house with over 5 acres of land but couldn't find it....so will have to contact Real Estate Agency to find out where it is...if it's still for sale by the time I sell this house, if I ever do....as I've been saying that for over 15 years now! :D Too old and set in my ways to make new changes...but we'll see what happens next year! Hope all are well your way and God blesses ya mightily!!

Really was a beautiful day today and opened windows for fresh air again, but is clouding up and getting dark already at 4:30 pm! Day doesn't last long at all since the time change....oh well, always next spring and summer, if it doesn't get too hot and dry again! Will take the Lord's blessings whenever He gives it and give Him thanks and praise in all things...for the bad weather helps us to appreciate the good! :)

God Bless!

Had a great time. That is only the second Sirloin stockade I have heard of. Jerry and I stopped at one in Decatur ILL a couple of years ago and it was great. I ate too much though. Don't forget to check out the real estate on your computer. It will save you some gas. Take care.

interested in seeing. Since we were going down to the Rolla area, we just looked at a few from the outside and if we would have seen something we liked then we would try to look inside at a later date, if the place hadn't sold. The nice ones with a reasonable price sell fast and others stay on the market a long time! Next spring we'll be more interested in seeing and maybe buying one...if and when my house is up for sale &/or sold! Viewing the outside of homes helps me to know what the different parts of the city are like! Happy traveling and detecting! :)

God Bless!
