My birthday hunt and my wife gets the present

I have a guy trying to buy my CZ3d so I wanted to take it out today. I was hunting an old soccer/baseball field. I forgot my bug spray, my headphones weren't working so I knew it would be a short hunt. About ten minutes into the hunt I got a nice quarter signal and found this nice necklace at about six inches. Losing this had to upset someone. You can see the open ring that caused the loss in the photo.

Is it gold or brass comes to mind...in any case a nice find...coming up high on the meter sort of feel its not gold...

It seems to be silver. Was pretty out of the ground. Responded well to a soap and water bath. Really got a shine with some baking soda and water paste. Will look for marks, but it is such a spread out necklace I'm not sure where they would be.

Look for any markings on the area when the clasp is attached..
