My biggest frustration

isnt with the racer,,I’m frustrated with the control cover...Every time I go to change the settings by pushing the button to the right all the buttons get pushed, and it starts scrolling down the settings instead of changing the setting I’m on.Im sure I can’t be the only one,it’s frustrating..I’m gonna cut out a little circle on the clear plastic so the red buttons are exposed.I think the control cover is just so tight that when I push the button to the right or left it eventually pushes the button facing down, and it ends up scrolling through the whole menu.

Better idea instead of cutting out a circle is to cut a cross/X where the separations of the buttons are. This will still give some environmental protection and allow the plastic to be pressed without it pressing other buttons.
We use plastic covers on our crane remotes at work and have had to do this to the plastic face cover to prevent multiple buttons being pushed when you press just one button

Great idea

Let us know how it works.
I usually don't wear a glove on the hand I hold my detector with (right) and do all my hand digging and soil handling with my left gloved hand.
But I am prone to some soreness in the left hand from the digger handle and not wearing a glove.
If you try this, let us know how it works. Maybe I'll go this route and use both hands gloved
