Hello again, here some of my relic finds from 2009:

I found Plenty of good ol musketballs, neat anchor button maybe somewhere 1800, horse saddle decoration somewhere 1700,smokepipe cleaner from 1700,few neat decorative buttons from 1600-1800,Russian postal service button late 1800,Finnish lion army button, few bronze seal rings around 1500-1700. Can`t wait to start hunting again after the snow melt away.:sadwalk:

I have a question? Its pretty cool that you are finding items from 1800 and earlier I was wondering how deep a find would be at that has been in the ground that long?

I mainly search plowed fields for old relics and coins,so old stuff can be at any depth. Majority of my finds have been at depth of 2"-8",few deeper finds 9"-14". The depth aint the problem, but the huge volume of small iron pieces, they like to hide the good stuff, god i hate iron.:veryangry:
