Only place I hunted this year. Sandbar where party boats anchor up. 3 Gold s first row. 5 Silvers & a Stainless. Couple of Silvers took some real cleaning. Got a lot of help , advice from you guys. And it really short cutted my learning curve. Thanks ! Course it wasn't all glory. Not pictured about a thousand pieces of trash - the usual suspects. You all know. I'll be mud hunting till I head south this winter.

I know from experience those sandbar party spots are a tough hunt. You did well:clapping:
I've tried to hunt one or two of those boat party sandbars in my area. I figured since the one closest to me is right inside a pass with strong incoming and outgoing Gulf tides it would be swept clean of the lite tabs and even caps.....nope!!

That would be a great day Beech, but ahhh is was the whole summer. Gotta start somewhere, huh.

Joe said that because that IS one on his days........ Hes been a magnet this year. He keeps saying hes going do slow down a bit now............ ya right. Just put on more cloths Joe or vacation down South....... get a tan and continue your success. Congrats on the finds.

And Dew is correct, I have had a few Great hunts like that, Just wish my Silver came out looking that clean...VN!

Thanks guys for your comments. I got my first wading gold this year (3). Also pulled from 4 1/2 inches of mud the biggest diamond ring I could only hope to find. (15 yrs hunting) Back to my water hunting the results aren't great but there are many rumors of lost Treasure in that swarm of tabs & what not. It's been hunted before but not pounded much. Next year I'll give it another thousand targets before I give up on it.
Besides, You have to reach it by boat, about a 10 minute cruise from the docks. Waters crystal clear, and that's the hand dealt me.
