Relics are my favorite things to dig. I have been extremely lucky this year. I found three cannonballs and all different sizes. It is hard to believe that there is a 1793 battle field right down the road that can be hunted. I have about 6 weeks or so left here and I am sure gonna miss it. I just got done with the larger cannonball. I cleaned it up, removed the powder ,filled it full of wax and then I used black rust resistant paint and tung oil over the paint. It turned out pretty good. Now all I have to do is get them back to the states.I might go over my weight limit but it will be worth it.
