My Best Hunt In Years...........

The ol' Xterra 70 tore up some ground today!!! Found 2 new spots. The coins and the 2 .69 Minnies and the smashed Eagle coat button came from a city park. The other bullets and 3 more Eagle buttons came from a CW fort site. Man, was it LOADED with iron!! When I found 2 of the buttons, I had a square nail in the hole with them. Most of the bullets were 6-10" deep and the buttons were 5-6" deep. I use the 10.5DD 7.5 kHz coil ALL the time now!!

Nice finds!! I am using the 10.5" Mid. Freq. on my x50 for relic hunting. I am actually finding the deeper minnie balls again. I haven't got over a button with it yet, but I have dug plenty of other small brass items such as a box finial and a bunch of shotgun shells and .22 hulls. Still learning the tones of the xterra and the DD coil.
