My best find ... ever!

Found this watch in my scoop yesterday morning, after hunting the dry sands for only about 20 minutes.
Jane and I have been hunting this beach almost every morning for more than 2 years, and never thought we would find such a treasure. It was a very lucky day.
We hope all of you will have the same great good fortune.
Good Luck and Happy Hunting.

That's awesome dude. I looked up some of those watches and a lot of them are $5,000 to $10,000!!! Are you going to wear it?

Excellent find!

Man, what's the odds of scooping one of them up.
On top of it's value, Thailand imposes 100% tax on imported valuables.

and you are correct, A VAT (Value Added Tax) of 100% for watches in Thailand, ... all watches. A cheap Timex could cost $100US. I don't think that a Thai lost it, but then again, there are a lot of wealthy Thais. A more plausible explanation is that it was lost by a, young, European guy, on holiday, that spent the afternoon drinking Heinekins with his mates, and took it off to play beach volleyball, then forgot about it when he picked up his towel and went to his bungalow. Happens all the time, but rarely with something this valuable.
Thanks Dawg, for posting.

To impress, why else? I love seeing people wearing their good jewelry to the beach. Funny though, how few times I see people looking for something they've lost. With all the wedding bands, engagement diamonds, etc. you'd think there'd be people frantically looking every day.
