Well here it is I said awhile back when I remembered how to shrink the pictures to fit on here, I would post the diamond ring I found in May of this year. It has a carat and a half on top, half carat on each side, 26 blue stones, and 12 smaller diamonds set in 12K. brought tears to my eyes, appraised at over $10,000. I thought finding a ring like that only happened to the guys on youtube. Gene

GOOD GOD I'm sure that weighted down your wife's hand a little. Wow that is a beautiful ring..

She liked it but I already bought her a huge diamond ring 32 years ago when I married her, so I sold it and spent it all on her anyway, she's my favorite wife ya know. I bought her a brand new carbon fiber paddle board $1700.00, a brand new wet suit $300.00, and new fin for her surf board $75.00, and the most high dollar dinner place I could find in San Diego. She's my life and what I live for, well maybe metal detecting too, but over all she's my sweetie. Oh and the day before I found that ring I found a mans size 11 and three quarter 14K big ole gold ring, wouldn't have wanted to meet him in the dark alley, and an hour after I found the diamond ring I found another 18K dinner ring with a real half carat ruby and 22 small diamonds. so it was three gold rings in two days, it doesn't happen often but when it does it's really makes your day. I have found over 1400 gold rings, earrings, necklaces, bracelets, and coins over the last fifteen years, and at least ten thousand silver rings and earrings, but I live on the beach so it gets replenished everyday. That is some BLING. You can afford picture resize classes. Awesome find if you figure out YouTube you too could be a YouTube guy. Very nice congrats on that one.

Way to go Gene. I can remember a lot of your finds and you would end with EXCALL. Now you can end them with HOLY CHIT. Congratulations! HH :minelab:

Holy crap gene! That's some serious ringage! What beaches do you live by? They must be some pretty busy beaches.

Thanks guys, but as you know those kind of finds don't pop up very often, I'll post a picture of the huge diamond ring I found for a lady that lost her $15,000 wedding ring down here where I live, then had to go home to Los Angels and leave it here in the sand, she cried all the way home. My wife seen the sign on the side of the restroom about losing the ring, so I called her husband. said they had a detectorist already look for it, but I said i'll give it a try, so he guided me to the spot by phone, and as luck would have it there were 5 ladies and all there kids sitting on that exact spot. So I told him that and that i'd call back. The ladies all said aw..... and looked at their own rings all at the same time, but said go ahead and look for it, well I found it in ten minutes. Called the guy had him discribe it, sure enough that was it, so the next day he drove down, I handed him the ring and with tears in both of our eyes he handed me a thank you card, i opened it, it had$1000.00 cash in it, I said WOW! This is a lot of money, he said no it is worth it, it would have cost me fifteen thousand to replace it,so i'm gettin' off easy. We shook hands, hugged and he drove away in his brand new BMW, Seems I didn't feel so bad taking the money then, thanks for letting me bend your ears, Gene
